We have talk about a house, looked a many, planned reno projects, and work with our awesome realtor for a long time.  To me it felt like FOREVER. But Jeff was patient and lead us to a great home with a good amount of money saved to be in a safe position to buy this house.  So after a month of negotiating, inspections, temporary highs and lows, we finally closed on November 1st 2012! Big Day for the Baggett’s!

As for blogging I hope you enjoy DIYing bc that will be our life for quit a while.

Day 1:

This is the house.  4bedroom/2bath 1700 sq ft with a garage, a fireplace, a great yard, and gold carpet.  Yep, GOLD!  The home hasn’t changed much since 1968 when it was built expect for new roof, new wiring, new ac, and new windows.  The rest is up to us.

Some of the sweet details.

The awesome brown micro range and stove combo.

OH LA LA.

Popcorn Ceiling and fancy lighting.

Fireplace YO!

Rad gold carpet and serious curtains

Here to moving to our new home!  We are SO grateful for all the help! People that help other people move are special!

  1. One more thing the poor Deer head needs to live in the garage or anywhere out of sight! I bet a lot of people were doing double takes as Jeff rode down the street with his Bambi head in the front seat with him.

  2. Can’t wait to see this new home for you and Jeff. What an exciting time, lots of hard work ahead but will be worth it in the end. I’m so happy for both of you.
