We survived three weeks. We even moved in! Well, we moved into one room with a bed and a stack of clothes in the corner, but its our bedroom in our house.
After moving a few pieces of furniture through tiny door frames, we continued the projects. We did some painting, added pickets to the fence posts, unboxed a bit of the kitchen, and replaced wholes in the ceilings with new fans and new vents.
So far we have painted the living room, three bedrooms, two bath rooms, and entry wall with two coats of paint. I have to give a shout out to my step dad, Dave, for fixing all the banged up walls and making then free of dents and wholes. Thanks Dave! Paint color tempered grey, so pretty. Now just one bedroom, the hallway, and the den to go.
Jeff and Steven put the pickets up on the fence and it looks great. To top it off the whole thing is straight and level! 🙂 Jeff finished the gate on one side so all that remains of this project is the double gate on the opposite side of the house.
Unpack a few more things in the kitchen.
Pictures of the new ceiling with their new fans and vents to come… I got awesome fans on clearance at Lowe’s for $35.00, yay! And I also recently found a small industrial chandelier at an antique shop. Can’t wait for it to go up. Fingers crossed great than 6 ft brother won’t hit is head on it 🙂
