Painted Brass Chandelier

Does your home have some outdated lighting?  Our does.  Well, did.  We had a big brass chandelier that was probably really nice whenever someone bought it but it really needed some love.

Here’s how we did it.

Take the light down and prep it for paint.

Then hang the light somewhere safe for a big cloud of paint and high enough to get all the different angles.

Next a coat of primer.

Then spray your fav color. Lots of it. We have a thing for Aqua.

While this is drying clean the crystals.  Our chandelier had a billion and this part was painful but worth it in the end.

After a bit of attention to the wiring, testing the bulbs, and not getting electrocuted, hang the chandelier.

and… We love how it turned out.
