June 8th 1980. The day the Lord created the perfect man for me. I’m grateful for his birth and for the life he has given me. To celebrate him 33 years later we did want every man wants… went fishing! In addition to the cutest little banner I made for him, Jeff wanted to see his family, and catch fish. Bill and Marilyn were able to make the trip from Homestead along with Aunt Nett from Montgomery. For the first time we were able to host everyone here at 206 Cordoba!
The Lord continued to bless us by keeping tropical storm Andrea away and providing gorgeous summer weather. Our boat isn’t large enough for the extra passengers or off shore trips, which is why we called Jeremy with Buck Wild Fishing Charters. We met at sunrise and left from Shoreline Park. And for the record Jeremy speaks snapper, Fluently! We caught our snapper limits after a few hours then spent some time fishing for other great catches. It was perfect.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFF ~ WE LOVE YOU. AND FISHING.

Perfection, That seems to be the only word I can come up with to describe Memorial Weekend 2012.
The anticipation started when Alexis said she would be coming to stay with us for the long weekend and that she was going to bring her puppy love, Mack. He and Bear are now BFF.
We spent the weekend taking Mack for swims (Bear had to stay home and rest up. He went to see the vet and won’t be having any baby bears), visiting with friends, grilling, and loving the salt life. Here are some snap shots.

One of God’s greatest gifts is a Monday with no work. This was bound to be a great day.
The day was defiantly off to a great start when Jeff let this happen for the first time: Bear in Bed!
HE IS MY HEART
After some chores so I would feel less guilty with my hubby at work at day:), Mike and I grabbed the cutest doggie ever, and headed over to Mom and Dave’s new place to check out the progress. The new house is looking AWESOME. A new teal paint job some elbow grease and WOW. Pics to come. So, Dave had this old windsurfing board that looked like it could work as a paddle board and wouldn’t ya know they had some old kayak paddle lying around too.
Paddle boarding has been on my mind lately. Unfortunately, it isn’t a cheap hobby so we were pretty excited to have a go at the windsurfer/stand up paddler.
LOVE THIS LIFE
Hi. I spent the afternoon relaxing at the beach and it was wonderful. Bear was with me and he loved it too. I happened to have my camera and made a little video for you. Feel free to whip up a pina colada to go along with this video.
